MOVIPRO^® is an innovative new drive solution that significantly enhances SEW-EURODRIVE's decentralized portfolio. Decentralized drive and positioning control cover positioning applications as well as applications in the top power range of 15 kilowatts.

The compact unit has a high level of integration and can replace entire decentralized inverter control cabinets in the field.   In this way, MOVIPRO® not only saves room, but it also greatly reduces system complexity.

Pluggable interfaces and an interchangeable memory card mean that, if necessary, the unit can be replaced quickly and easily. MOVIPRO^® makes it possible for drives to work in close proximity to decentralized drive control. This allows for conveyor system architectures that are far superior to comparable centrally controlled designs.

Decentralized drive unit makes it possible to install autonomous drive sectors that can be networked among each other and communicate with one another through all current bus systems. The comprehensive, practice-oriented drive solutions using MOVIPRO^® are targeted chiefly toward conveyor and machine applications in the automotive industry and production logistics.

The different application requirements for a decentralized positioning unit result in two different unit variants:
- the parameterizable drive and position controller MOVIPRO^®-SDC
- the parameterizable and programmable drive and application controller MOVIPRO^®-ADC
